Google’s Android Challenge forbidden to Italy.Reactions..

Google Developer ChallengeBad news for Italian guys! The Google’s Android Developer Challenge, which will provide $10 million in awards to the best Android Application for Mobile, is forbidden to Italian residents, due to “local restrictions“. In facts, Italian Law about challenges is more restrictive than many others countries. Some say that’s about prevent fake prices never gave sharpen the laws in force, some others wrote an open letter to Sergej Brin to include Italy in the competition.

Many Italian lawyers speaks about it, but Google takes time to reply. And what about the Italian government? Sleeps again? Some politician, like Antonio di Pietro seems to receipt the problem and publish a letter from an Italian guy in his weblog. We hope things goes better for Italy, this may be a good opportunity for small developer to reach the aim to see a reward for his work.
